It’s a common item at old-school kissaten (retro Japanese cafes) and a popular quick homemade snack, offering pizza flavor in a fraction of the time and effort.

Napolitan
Napolitan is a ketchup-based spaghetti dish, typically tossed with sausage or bacon, onion, green pepper, and sometimes mushroom, all stir-fried together in a skillet. If you get the chance during your trip, give pizza toast or Napolitan a try. It’s a fun bit of culinary history, and a good story to bring home.
