Tokyo Station

Beautiful Japanese Scenery

On this blog, I will gradually share some of the beautiful photographs of Japanese landscapes that I have taken over the years.

This is a photograph of Tokyo Station, viewed from the Marunouchi side. I captured this fleeting moment just after the sun had set, as the sky was gradually growing darker.

The historic red-brick station building, which tells the story of Tokyo’s past, stands in front of the modern skyscrapers rising behind it. The contrast between the breathtaking colors of the twilight sky and the warm lights shining from the windows of Tokyo Station creates a truly beautiful scene.

The Marunouchi side of Tokyo Station has been beautifully developed and landscaped, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the station’s magnificent appearance.

When you visit Japan, there is a good chance that you will use Tokyo Station at least once. If you do, be sure to exit on the Marunouchi side and take a moment to enjoy the beautiful view of this historic station.

Another thing that may seem unusual to visitors from overseas is the large number of shops located inside Japanese train stations.

At major stations such as Tokyo Station, you can find many souvenir shops, bento shops, restaurants, and other stores both inside the station and in the underground areas. Department stores are also often located next to major stations, giving you even more opportunities to shop and explore.

It can be a lot of fun to browse these shops, so I recommend arriving at the station a little early and taking some time to enjoy the stores inside the station as well.

By the way, the Imperial Palace is only about a 10-minute walk from the Marunouchi exit. The Imperial Palace is also said to be one of Japan’s most powerful spiritual spots, so I highly recommend visiting it as well.

I will continue to post many more photographs of beautiful places in Japan, so please stay tuned.
